Are you skipping out on a decent, eight hour long slumber? Then you’re doing yourself a disservice! One way to ensure that you are ready for the day and refreshed is through getting some shut eye. In the event that you just had to pull an all-nighter, one quick tip to help get you back on your A-Game is this:
Use your break time to nap. To make sure you actually fall asleep for those precious 30 to 60 minutes, we suggest listening to calming music (think, nature sounds) and easing your body into a state of relaxation. Make sure to set an alarm though and of course, if you feel a little spacey after the fact, drink some water to re-re-energize naturally.
Start Your Day Off Right
Thought that not being allowed to eat cookies for breakfast was just some evil ploy instilled by your parents growing up? Well, it wasn’t. What you eat in the morning sets the tone for the entire day. So, even if there’s the chance that your sleep cycle wasn’t awesome or you woke up stressing out over the day ahead, you can control your mood by controlling your appetite. Here’s how:

Eggs are a great way to supply the body with protein and give it a dose of needed vitamins to restore your energy levels for the day. As discussed in another post, sugar is not great for the body. It’s addictive and brings with its delectable taste, myriad issues. One in particular: the sugar crash. If your energy levels have been lower than usual, assess your intake of sugar. Did you grab a Frapuccino from Starbucks this morning or eat brownie as a mid-day snack? There you have one culprit for the possible low-ball feeling you have. Here’s how to fix it:
