Get your spouts and buckets ready: It’s National Maple Syrup Day!
Sure, you could celebrate this sweet (and by sweet we, of course, mean tasty and awesome) holiday with pancakes and waffles, but why not take it a step further, put on your barista apron and make your own Frozen Maple Mochaccino?
It’s easier than you think!
- 1. The night before, make a small pot of coffee and let cool. Add to an ice tray and freeze overnight. In the morning you’ll have delicious coffee ice cubes, perfect for making this iced coffee treat!
- 2. Brew your double-strength coffee by adding twice as many grounds as you normally would. Let cool, then add 1 cup to your blender along with 2 coffee cubes, almond milk, cocoa, maple syrup and vanilla extract.
- 3. Serve in two glasses, dust the top with a sprinkle of cocoa powder, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Health & happiness,
