Did someone say ice cream? Nope. We said nice cream. A tasty treat minus the sugar rush.
Nice Cream isn’t technically ice cream, but we won’t tell anyone if you won’t. This wellness favorite has taken social media by storm with its creamy consistency which mimics traditional soft serve, but doesn’t have any of the not-so-great additives (i.e; processed sugars).
To acquaint you with nice cream, let’s quickly cover what it is made from.
Every nice cream recipe has the same base ingredient. This is ripe, preferably organic bananas. The riper the better, since that means a creamier, and slightly sweeter treat. Who doesn’t want that?
Then comes the fun part…creative add-ins! With nice cream, you’re the ice cream maker, and can design any flavor your heart desires. Want to create a Goji Berry flavor? You. Can. Do. It. Stick to plain-Jane vanilla? Also possible.
This recipe also allows anyone who is Lactose Intolerant or following a Vegan lifestyle to hop on board, and enjoy a summer favorite!

What you’ll need:
For The Nice Cream:
- 2-3 Ripe Bananas
- 1 cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 Cup Almond Milk
- Cacao Nibs
- Sliced Strawberries
How to make:
- Blend the Nice Cream ingredients in a food processor or blender until thick, and creamy.
- Scoop into a bowl or cone
- Sprinkle with toppings
- Enjoy guilt-free!
