This style of preparation is used to support flavor, texture and nutrition of the plant. For some, this doesn’t matter much, but seasoned Tea drinkers notice the difference. 
What is Matcha Green Tea?
This Powdered Green Tea is made from ground Tea Leaves. Its unique covering process is what makes it different than traditional form.
After a few weeks of being shaded, the leaves are dried and then turned into a fine powder through a unique oxidation process.

Matcha contains a host of beneficial Vitamins, Minerals and Nutrients. The most notable being EGCG, Theanine, Chlorophyll and other valuable antioxidants.
3 Delicious Ways to enjoy Matcha:
1. Matcha Pumpkin Seed Latte:
- 1 Cup of Pumpkin Seeds (Soaked).
- 1 Teaspoon Matcha Green Tea Powder.
- 6 Cups of Filtered Water.
- 4 Fresh Pitted Dates.
- 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Butter.
- 1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract.
- 1/2 Tsp of Sea Salt.
Combine Pumpkin Seeds, Matcha, Water, Dates Coconut Butter, Vanilla and Salt. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes until creamy.
Strain the Pumpkin Seeds and pour into a glass jug. Properly refrigerate before serving.
2. Matcha Frosting:
- 1 Avocado, Seed Removed.
- Handful of Baby Spinach.
- Half Cup of Frozen Mango.
- Half a Lime, Juiced.
- 1 Tablespoon of Organic Maple Syrup.
- 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Yogurt.
- 1/4 Cup of Organic Coconut Oil.
Combine frosting ingredients into a high-speed blender for 1-2 minutes for a smooth consistency.
Store in the refrigerator until served. Great for delicious baked goods like Doughnuts, Cake and Brownie Recipes!
3. Matcha Dark Chocolate Bars:
- 2/3 Cup of Pitted Dates.
- 1/3 Cup of Organic Cocoa Powder.
- 2/3 Cup of Almonds.
- 2 Tablespoons of Matcha Powder.
- 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Butter.
- 1/3 Cup of Coconut Flakes
- 2 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup
Combine all ingredients in a Food Processor and blend until completely mixed. Take the contents out of the Food Processor once it is thick.
Place on Parchment Paper and craft into a rectangular bar form about one inch thick.
Refrigerate for a few hours before cutting into the desired shape. Sprinkle Matcha Powder on top of bars as desired for an ornate finishing touch!
