Turn your Sunday into a SuperFOOD Bowl Sunday with these easy, healthy snacks!
Veggies & Dip
Sure, chips and dip are a staple snack, but add some veggies to the mix for a healthy (and colorful!) option. Cut up every color pepper you can get your hands on, grab some bite-sized broccoli and cauliflower, snag a bag of baby carrots, and consider replacing ranch dip with hummus. Delish!
Think Finger Food
Game day is all about finger food. If you’re looking to bring some meat into the mix, try making our recipe for chicken lettuce wraps! You can also consider making mini pizzas using cauliflower crust, or using green toppings! Why not whip up some cucumber hummus bites? These are a personal favorite and go fast!
Chips are Great, but Healthy Chips are Better
Sure, you could pop open store-bought potato chips, but why not think outside the bag? Sweet potato crisps are not only quick and easy, but are absolutely mouth-watering and are great with any dip (or on their own!). You can even try a new classic: the perfect kale chip, customized with your favorite party seasoning!
Speaking of Dips…
…Let’s talk about salsa. The spicy-sweetness of salsa can’t be beat, but instead of grabbing a jar of the store stuff, try making your own! Our recipe for sweet apple salsa combines the best flavors of fall and summer into one knock-out dip.
Go Nuts for Nuts
It’s no secret that nuts are a must-have at any party, especially if your guests are indulging. While it may be easy to overspend on store-bought cans of nuts, making your own at home is much more cost effective and delicious! Check out our recipe for homemade roasted honey mustard nuts, or customize your own types of trail mix that’ll be enjoyed by the handful.
Bring in a Little Something Sweet
Whether your team wins or loses, we’ll all need to end the night with something sweet. Prepare some easy healthy freezer fudge the night before, or throw together this vegan chocolate mousse made from avocados. Looking to add some fruit into the mix? Try these quick paleo candy apple wedges or create this superfood-fruit salad topped with elderberry dressing!
