Put a twist on your regular hummus recipe by using white beans.
We love hummus, it’s one of our favorite snacks – especially when we use it to make our delicious cucumber hummus bites! But sometimes it’s fun to add a twist to our favorite recipe like using white beans instead of chickpeas.
White beans are smoother that chickpeas and we think that using basil in this recipe brings not only a delicious flavor, but a fantastic aroma.
- 1. Blend all ingredients except basil in food processor until smooth, for approximately three minutes, scraping the sides when necessary.
- 2. Add the basil and pulse until the basil is chopped and incorporated into the hummus
- 3. Garnish with additional basil, serve.
